Position Title: Brand Development Officer

Job Summary:

The Brand Development Officer leads the implementation of institutional projects. The officer creates brand marketing plans for which he/she executes directly with support groups. He/She will develop and utilize platforms to nurture brand engagement with customers and build affinity and loyalty. The officer shall also support business unit counterparts to strengthen product marketing initiatives through branding.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Develops marketing strategies that translate the brand strategy to programs that deliver brand KPI targets and, where appropriate, business impact
  • Leads the implementation of key institutional projects, including the financial education program, anti-fraud communications and other brand building initiatives
  • Spearheads the customer lifecycle program, and leads the execution of institutional brand communications and e-newsletters
  • Collaborates with other divisions to craft plans translated to executable campaigns across all relevant touchpoints and media to support BU business objectives
  • Drives product development of marketing tools and assets
  • Develops analytics requirements for campaigns and projects and works with digital teams to create reports and present insights
  • Identifies opportunity areas for development based on consumer and market trends

 

Qualifications:

  • Typically, with 5-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand development and management. Previous experience in a branding or marketing role is preferred.
  • With proven expertise in brand development, including the creation and evolution of brand strategies to enhance market presence:
    • Proficient in defining and maintaining brand identity elements, including logo, tagline, messaging, and visual style.
    • Skilled in ensuring that all marketing materials and activities align with brand guidelines and maintain brand consistency.
    • Has an ability to develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Experienced in creating and managing marketing content that effectively communicates the brand's values and message.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to come up with innovative brand concepts and strategies.
    • With the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust brand strategies accordingly.
  • With strong skills in market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitors, and opportunities for brand growth.
  • Familiar with digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, and SEO, to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Has strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey the brand's message and vision effectively.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of brand campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
