Position Title: Sr. Business Analyst


Job Summary:  

This position is primarily responsible for the following primary roles:

  • Ownership and documentation of product enhancements requirements and end-user documentation from Business Solutions Unit.
  • Produces Functional Specification; interacts extensively with various business units and teams for Requirements Gathering and Elicitation. The functional specification is the basis of system development and enhancement
  • Leads and facilitates workshop or meetings to visualize and design system enhancements and/or development
  • Acts as a liaison between the Business Unit and Technical team

  • Enhance your critical analysis and problem-solving skills by helping bridge the gap and improve efficiency thru understanding business needs and translating into application and operational requirements
  • Be trained in interacting with users, clients, management and developers by clearly communicating details like project requirements, requested changes, and testing results
  • Exposure in various applications, new platforms, technologies, and business domain


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science/Industrial Engineering, Information Technology Management or equivalent field.
  • With one (1) to two (2) years of work experience in building and designing information systems supporting Credit Card or Transaction/Payment Processing business.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the fundamentals of designing information technology systems to benefit and improve business processes, methodologies and their implementation to IT system projects.
  • Familiar with business process rules and logic
  • Strong business and systems analysis skills, testing skills, troubleshooting skills and experience with numerous environments and architectures. 
  • Required competencies include but are not limited to the following:
    • Data gathering techniques
    • Interview techniques
    • Process flow and systems documentation
    • Analysis of complex/multiple data
    • Business modeling methods
  • Familiar with all phases of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proven ability to create accurate, structured documentation and design written documents.
  • Experience with system development, test verification and change management methodologies.
  • Able to design solutions that are easy to use and focus on the priorities of the business processes.
  • Able to structure requirements and other information to accurately reflect the business processes
  • Preferably has knowledge of data warehousing and modeling methods, techniques, standards and procedures
  • Knowledge in relational database and query concepts is a plus
