ACCOUNT MANAGER, ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT - LUZON

Job Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for managing transaction banking activities in the areas of sales, implementation, and customer management. He or she superintends the acquisition, growth and protection of accounts ensuring overall customer satisfaction concerning transaction banking solutions (cash management and trade solutions). 

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

 Identifies opportunities to provide transaction banking solutions within the assigned area and market coverage.
 Manages sales pipeline, and ensures opportunities are moved through deal stages.
 Participates in business calls on target corporate clients, scopes the business, offers appropriate products and solutions, and briefs the latter on the benefits of transaction banking products.
 Provides corporate clients first-level support for products and service queries.
 Works closely with Service Managers to assess technical requirements of the clients.
 Prepares and recommends approvals on pricing of certain transaction banking product
 Facilitates the accomplishment of necessary documentary requirements and monitors the enrollment of the acquired deals.
 Handovers deals for the implementation of the won deal. 
 Prepares and facilitates simple and standard training requirements of client users, as needed.


JOB DESCRIPTION: Account Manager

 Coordinates pre-implementation requirements with back/front office units, as may be needed. 
 Conducts implementation training for corporate clients’ designated users as may be needed.
 Performs review on new and existing accounts in relation to CA/SA and usage of facility, and revenue performance of assigned accounts. 
 Provides corporate clients suitable support on basic resolution and issues relating to transaction banking products.
 Observes proper documentation of client’s request on basic troubleshooting. 
 Coordinates reported transaction banking related problem with concerned units.
 Performs functions related to health check of assigned accounts
 Conducts internal briefings to partner units – Area/Region Office, Branches, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Business Banking and other bank units as may be needed.
 Ensures synergy between partner units for meeting respective targets and for optimum client experience.
 Brings forth inputs, feedback, and recommendations to the Product Management Department for their appropriate action.
 Works with Human Resources Management Group – Training Support Department in conducting training and lecture for ODP participants and other concerned units on cash management and trade products and services.
 Encourages cross-selling of other bank/subsidiary solutions when possible.
 Follows policies and procedures and completes necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner. 
 Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
