Position Title:  Cash Management Service Specialist

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the accurate and prompt cash transfers among branches and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) branch. Replenishes cash on offsite Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and onsite ATMs of CMSU host branch. Ensures deposit pick-up schedules by clients are met without delay. Retrieves cash from Cash Accept Machine (CAM)

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attends to requests for cash/check deposits pick up by clients that involve verification and bundle count.
  • Ensures cash pick up and delivery are properly recorded and acknowledged by clients.
  • Counts and verifies collected cash deposits/cash retrieved from Corporate Cash Accept Machine (CCAM).
  • Ensures that adequate security measures are provided.
  • Posts deposits in Mosaic Tellering System.
  • Delivers and pick up cash transfer from other branches
  • Ensures cash delivered or picked up is duly supported with accomplished Cash Transfer Slips for turnover and acknowledgement by the designated cash custodian of the unit/branch.
  • Assists in the preparation of foreign currency notes for shipment to service provider.
  • Performs cash deposit and withdrawal from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)
  • Prepares required tags and documents by BSP for cash deposits and withdrawals.
  • Ensures cash withdrawn is duly acknowledged by the designated cash custodian of the unit.
  • Loads and replenishes cash in the assigned off-site Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and on-site ATM of CMSU host branch in the presence of an ATM officer and two security escorts.
  • Prepares ATM Cash Balancing Sheet and forwards to  E-Banking Division – Reconciliation and Fulfillment Department (EBD-RFD)
  • Assists the Cash Management Services Officer in overseeing the money sorters in sorting/verifying cash transferred to the unit.
  • Processes check deposits for outward clearing and prepares Self Responding Ticket (SRT) to host branch/Check Clearing and Settlements Division (CCSD)
  • Coordinates with the Cash Management Service Officer in ensuring that the Cash-In-Vault (CIV) is adequate to meet the unit requirements but should not exceed the maximum CIV limit set by Head Office (HO).
  • Escalate issues or exceptions on the ground as appropriate.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
