Position Title:  Branch Premises and Infrastructure Officer

 

 

Job Summary:

The role involves strategic evaluation focusing on site evaluation, lease negotiations, and compliance with regulatory requirements. It includes preparing presentations for branch proposals, coordinating pre-opening requirements, and ensuring adherence to the activities related to branch openings, relocations, consolidations and renovations.

 

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates areas feasible for branch opening, consolidation or closure based on analyzed economic data about various locations.
  • Negotiates with external parties on lease terms and pricing on proposed sites in coordination with the branch concerned.
  • Reviews and endorses on branch lease contracts to ensure accurate legal documentation of agreed lease terms and conditions.
  • Prepares PADCOM presentation proposals regarding for new branches, relocations and consolidations.
  • Checks compliance with BSP requirements for branch licensing, branch opening, relocation, closure, banking hours (regular, Saturday and extended), local and nationwide holiday operations and non-operations.
  • Prepares and coordinates various requests to different Head Office Units related to branch pre-opening requirements.
  • Manages and ensures completion of activities performed at assigned branches during opening, relocation consolidation and renovation
  • Requests and ensures delivery of FFE related to the branch expansion, relocations and consolidations.
  • Assists in branch opening preparation, consolidation and relocation.
  • Manages activities related to branch renovations.
  • Conducts site inspections of branch premises to ensure adherence to standard layout, merchandising, safety and security standards.
  • Ensures collection of security deposits and advance rent when pulling out of a location.
  • Prepares an annual list of new branches for renovation, relocation and consolidation projects.
  • Participate in construction meetings.
  • Monitors and coordinates with assigned custodians at branches to ensure the replenishment of non I.T. and I.T. FFE buffer stocks items
  • Assesses, evaluates, and provides budget allocations for FFE requests received according to established policy.
  • Identify issues encountered and proposes process improvements
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
