Position Title: Cards Acquisition Policy and RAF Unit Head
Job Summary:
The key responsibility is to provide Analytics and Data Science support to the Consumer Business Sector’s portfolio in the area of balancing Risk-Reward to open up business growth opportunities and transformational initiatives. Create and initiate profit growth related strategies and initiatives while ensuring that programs are within the risk appetite framework of the business. Set segment-specific guardrails to optimize portfolio (ie proper mix per employment type, age groups, income bands, etc) Look for business tools available that will aid in penetrating new markets while maintaining asset quality.
Role Exposure:
- Develops and updates Cards credit risk acquisition policies
- Ensures policies are aligned with the bank’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements
- Coordinates with cross functional teams to implement Cards credit risk policies, providing training and support to relevant teams
- Conducts thorough analysis of Cards applications to identify potential risks
- Utilizes statistical models and data analysis tools to assess credit risk
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of credit risk policies and make adjustments as necessary
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of credit risk policies
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
- At least 4 years of relevant credit risk management experience from the banking or financial industry
- At least 2 years experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Proficiency in risk management software, data analysis tools, and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to assess credit risk and make data-driven decisions
