Position Title: Data Process Manager

 

Job Summary:

The jobholder will be responsible for managing business processes that act on, change, and manipulate data. The role will also involve the identification and monitoring of the different intersection points across the business and the technologies that the company is using in its various processes. Additionally, the jobholder will also be responsible for identifying and managing stewards for each major business process who are familiar with both the process itself and the data that it generates. This will enable enhanced knowledge sharing, continous improvement, and a more accurate consensus across the organization.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with subject matter experts for the various business processes to ensure a thorough understanding of each business process, and their resulting data.
  • Develops, implements, and enforces data governance policies to encourage a culture of process consistency and consistent data quality.
  • Regularly monitor the different processes to identify opportunities for improvement and streamlining, leveraging on the data continuously gathered within each process.
  • Present the current state of business processes and data to management, detailing possible sources of inconsistencies, data quality issues and inefficiencies, as well as best practices that can be shared across business units.
  • Provides training and technical support to analytics groups and personnel.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects or tasks that may be assigned from time-to-time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder, preferrably in any business, statistical, or mathematical course.
  • With at least 5-7 year of analytical or financial services experience. Credit card industry is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in SAS and Microsoft Tools (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Excellence analytic capabilities; focus on database analytics
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to lead projects with minimal guidance
  • Ability to build solid cross-functional partnerships and relationships to execute business policies
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies/systems and business processes
