Position Title: Information and Report Management Manager
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generates regular and ad hoc MIS/reports for the different business units
- Extracts lists based on defined selection criteria
- Prepares data in suitable formats for analysis and reporting
- Performs database management process - sourcing of databases, transformation/conversion to SAS datasets, data validation, preparation of views/reports for analysis by users and maintenance of historical databases
- Participates in User Acceptance Tests for system/process developments or enhancements that would require data validations/integrity-checking
- Provides support to database and MIS requirements of Sales and Marketing campaigns, Merchant Acquiring programs and Business Development initiatives
Qualifications:
- College graduate of any business, statistical or mathematical course
- At least 4 years of analytics experience in a financial institution preferably from a retail bank or a credit card company
- Experience in dealing with various units of the organization and customer service is an advantage
- Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of SAS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience in model-building, conducting portfolio studies using data mining techniques and statistical modeling tools is required
- Excellent analytical capabilities, ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas to a larger audience including influencing skills with peers and senior management
- Proven problem-solving skills in a financial industry setting a must
