Position Title: Relationship Manager
Job Summary:
The jobholder is primarily responsible for managing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities. The jobholder is focused on portfolio growth in a competitive environment whilst not compromising the retention of the existing customer base or service level agreements.
Role Exposure:
- Support strategic plans based on growing revenue, sales, market share and productivity across the Merchant Acquiring business
- Bring on books strategic merchant partners with a view of growing Acquiring business and increasing MCC footstep in the industry
- Conduct merchant visitations, outbound calls and extending customer service activities with a view of establishing rapport with merchants and resolving issues
- Build, develop and utilize relationships with key areas within MCC and the Metrobank Group to grow Acquiring business
- Monitor performance of the merchant terminal network, daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Implement Point-Of-Sale (POS) product upgrades from a device hardware, software and communications perspective
- Assist in the design, measure, analyze, implement and monitor strategic projects to ensure that each operational aspect of the project is considered and scheduled for completion within specified timeframes
- Demonstrate an understanding of key business drivers and ensure that the team is conversant in the same
- Identify potential process/service enhancements and escalate as necessary
- Ensure all concerns, issues and/requests of the key contacts are addressed on a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate with different business units to provide immediate feedback to key contacts
- All other things that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a college/university
- With at least 2 years of exposure in the merchant acquiring business ; Experience in acquiring technology preferred
- Has a background in business analysis with some project management experience
- Willingness to explore opportunities within the business and have the ability to articulate these opportunities to upper management
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
- Must show willingness to be assigned on field work. Willing to work on weekends and holidays.
