Position Title:  Card Sales Team Lead

 

Job Summary: The position is responsible for leading a team of Card Sales Officers at a ratio of 12:1 through effective People Management. The Card Sales Team Leader ensures consistent alignment of sales activities of managed team to the over-all strategy of the Department and identify acquisition opportunities to achieve the unit’s performance targets and productivity indicators.

 

Role Exposure:

  • Translates overall Sales Strategy into functional objectives for the team to deliver and exceed the monthly, quarterly and FY plan
  • Effectively communicates total group direction to his team 
  • Determines the support needed by his team to effectively carry out plans
  • Identifies training requirements of the team and periodically aligns with the training team
  • Ensures the performance of the Card Sales Officers in his team
  • Monitors the execution of the acquisition programs
  • Reviews processes and regularly recommends improvements or ways to streamline current processes
  • Aligns with the Direct Sales Head on the team progress against KRA
  • Ensures that programs are fully utilized, and costs are within desired levels.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree course

  • At least 3 years of Sales or Marketing-related experience preferably with specialization in Sales and Business 
    Development. 

  • With hands on involvement in People Management preferably from other Credit Card companies/ Financial institution, FMCG companies or similar industries. 

  • Currently in a team lead or managerial role

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage direct reports from Staff to Officer

  • Advanced critical thinking 

  • Presentation skills

  • Strong People Management capabilities

  • Confidence in engaging middle and higher management of companies to pursue
