Position Title: Centralized Processing Division Officer
Job Summary:
Lead a staff of 10 and up in order for them to perform their duties efficiently as DPD associates resulting to removal low value transactional work from branches, enabling branches with more time for high value transactions & focused service, standardizing & optimizing processes, assisting GHE targets while reducing inherent risk & strengthening control. This includes being fully responsible and accountable for the performance of the team, including the customer experience being delivered, the quality of process execution, coaching and personal development of members within the team.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide support, conduct trainings, create strategies, and evaluate processes.

Identify loopholes in current systems, policies and strategies and take actions to mitigate emerging risks.

Act as the subject matter expert on the process and the systems on which they use to resolve client and staff difficulties to ensure service is delivered in an exceptional manner.

Act as the resource person for product and process knowledge and provides telephone-based, email-based, or work chat support to branches.

Continuously monitor the quality of work of the team. Be the first point of escalation for any problems or issues encountered by any of the team.

Identify coaching opportunities and continuously elevate team members’ capabilities to ensure high quality of work is achieved.

Conduct periodic performance review sessions with team members. This includes mid-year and full year review.

Ensure the role competencies and requirements within the team are maintained from both the perspective of operational execution, back-up and contingency plan.

Performs proactive team review for the supported and identify key control and trends.

Ensure team receives relevant information relating to policies, standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide oversight around assessing operational readiness of the business units ability to migrate new processes, or perform system migrations.

Performs ad-hoc tasks identified by DPD head.
Risk and Control
-
Strictly adhere to established Bank regulatory requirements and updates, as well as prescribed BSP regulations

Ensure consistent implementation of the Bank’s Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MLPP), strictly comply with all his/her AML/CFT responsibilities as provided under the relevant Bank policies and procedures, ensure timely and proper resolution of identified AML/CFT issues and perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time in connection with identification, assessment, monitoring control and reporting of AML/CFT risks and ensuring Bank’s compliance with applicable AML/CFT laws, rules and regulations, latest trends and best practices.

Collates and reviews audits’ observations processed by DPD Associates
People

Coaches and mentors DPD associates through one-on-one or in group sessions

Promotes harmonious relationship and develops fine-tuned working environment among members and across other DPD-Teams

Leads the team for any work updates and synergy meetings
Others

Performs functions that can be assigned by the management from time to time
Qualifications:
-
Must have at least 2 years working experience preferably in roles related to banking an/or back-office or operations

Demonstrated ability to lead teams or projects with measurable outcomes

Strong adaptability & willingness to immerse with different banking functions (inside and outside CPD)
