Position Title: DevOps Engineer 

 

Role Exposure: 

  • Gain expertise in the development and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud
  • Develop a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications in the banking industry
  • Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives
     

Job Summary: 

The DevOps Engineer shall perform the following main functions:

  • Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy to cloud applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS, Azure or GCP solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
  • Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics or related field
  • More than 3 years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS, Azure and GCP platforms
  • Experienced in several of the following areas: Database Architecture, ETL, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics
  • Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of Business Analysts, Developers, Data Scientists, and Subject Matter Expert
  • Knowledge of web services, API, REST, RPC, Kubernetes and Openshift
  • Cloud AWS, Azure or GCP certifications are a plus
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Makati
