JOB SUMMARY :

The jobholder is a primary driver of strategies to grow and develop new business opportunities within the bank in line with growing its chosen customer base through ecosystem partnerships that can drive customer acquisition.

Through a strong understanding of the target market, the jobholder is expected to represent the bank, collaborate and negotiate with external partners to deliver a strong value proposition to an identified customer base that will entice new-to-bank sign-up/onboarding and lift likelihood of approvability for lending-products, while ensuring business viability for Metrobank.

This role is expected to work with cross functional teams to secure program approvals, develop campaigns and creative materials, establish operationalization processes, monitor partnerships performance and ensure achievement of targets.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Strategy Development & Execution of Acquisition campaigns
    • Have strong understanding of target market needs, motivations, behaviors, etc. to identify and maximize opportunities for acquisition
    • Lead in establishing the consumer growth strategy through partnerships
      • Partnerships roadmap and prioritization
      • Partnership goals, target setting
    • Ensure execution excellence in program management of initiatives led by the team
      • Campaign planning (annual, quarterly, ad hoc)
      • Tracking, monitoring, and reporting acquisition performance.
      • Improve processes, as necessary.
    • Consolidated performance reporting and review across partnerships handled by the team. (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
  • Partner Onboarding & Management
    • Responsible for proposing and prioritizing partners to be engaged and onboarded
    • Responsible for dealing, negotiating, and locking in commercial deals with partners with the goal of consumer acquisition
  • Partner Channel & Performance Management
    • Work with the partner to develop and implement acquisition strategies
    • Regular reporting on targets and performance metrics to assist the daily/weekly/monthly tracking of performance
    • Develop programs, processes, campaigns, etc. to ensure that acquisitions via the channel/partner is not a revolving door or have poor quality of accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Has at 5-10 years extensive experience in conceptualizing, developing and managing marketing strategies and/or sales programs from banking, credit card/ financial institutions, or FMCG companies.
  • Ability to understand of the different areas of retail bank and the credit card business and the capacity to relate unit’s operations and financial metrics to the overall business of the company
  • Excellent program management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and process management skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; Ability & confidence to negotiate
  • Has strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in translating business strategies to excellent program execution
