Job Summary:

 

  • Will provide analytics solutions for managing acquisition and portfolio action of unsecured lending business of the Bank to contribute business growth while ensuring risk is within the Bank’s appetite. The role will perform datamining, modeling and statistical analysis that will supplement credit underwriting criteria and acquisition programs for customer growth, and support portfolio action programs for balance growth. The role will also develop dashboards and reports for monitoring and tracking of performance and business risk metrics and guardrails.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Review and revisit acquisition and portfolio action frameworks to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ideate and perform analytical studies, and develop predictive and segmentation models to enhance existing risk frameworks.
  • Review eligibility criteria of acquisition and portfolio action programs to achieve optimal results and provide estimates of program targets and key metrics.
  • Monitor acquisition and portfolio action programs, evaluate program performance and provide recommendations.
  • Develop and implement reports and dashboards for monitoring and tracking of performance and business risk metrics and guardrails.
  • Monitor key metrics and guardrails, and communicate breaches to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accessibility, timely refresh and accuracy of reports and dashboards in production.
  • Regularly review live reports and dashboards and actively collaborate with business partners for the necessary updates.
  • Actively collaborate with internal and external business partners to gather requirements and provide the needed support from the team.
  • Work with Consumer Credit Risk Division of the Bank for oversight and ensure alignment with the Bank’s goals, strategies and priorities.
  • Perform other duties or special tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

 

  • College graduate of any business, statistical or mathematical course
  • At least 4 years of proven work experience in analytics with experience and familiarity with propensity and segmentation models
  • Experience in banking industry or any related financial institution is an advantage
  • Understanding of banking products and credit operations
  • Experience in dealing with various units of the organization is an advantage
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Ability to collect, organize analyze data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience using any statistical package such as SAS, R and Phyton
  • Experience conducting analytical studies and has experience or familiarity with datamining and model building.
  • Experience or familiarity with dashboard development
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Good presentation skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a financial industry setting a must
