Position Title:  Delivery Manager

 

 

Job Summary

 

Takes on non-analytical DSAA tasks that are critical to the division’s analytic delivery. Primarily, these are tasks related to tools and systems adoption, enhancement, or maintenance, which require coordination and collaboration within DSAA departments and with cross-functional teams both internal (e.g. ITG, ISD) and, when applicable, external parties (e.g. vendors). Other tasks may include the fulfillment of requirements related to audit, compliance, regulatory reporting and operational administration.

 

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Support the division in planning and tracking new intra-department and inter-department technology, analytics, or business processes/projects.
  • Interface with a diverse set of stakeholders including senior management, technical teams, and external partners
  • Perform day-to-day project coordination of DSAA projects, ensuring that project stakeholders get timely project updates and that all activities happen as scheduled.
  • Lead the scheduling, coordination, cost estimation, risk assessment, communication, and tracking of DSAA projects that bring in new analytic tools and techniques or upgrade existing ones. These tools and techniques may involve, but are not limited to, analytics technologies, data repositories, industry-standard analytics languages, cloud systems, or software-as-a-service.
  • Take point on system test requirements to ensure the smooth operations or enhancements of tools and systems, i.e., minimal to no disruption to production.
  • Perform day-to-day monitoring of DSAA tools and technologies (e.g. SAS Viya, SAS EG, Power BI) and take charge of any troubleshooting needs.
  • Ensure that DSAA tools and systems are maintained and optimized for maximum efficiency . This includes management and monitoring of application utilization, system storage/file server usage, and other similar tools and systems used/accessed by DSAA.
  • Work on bank requirements in relation to systems and processes including, but not limited to, audit and compliance requirements, procurement.

 

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems or related field of study
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience along with demonstrated experience in project management. Preferably, working with data platforms or analytic tools, both cloud and non-cloud
  • Have a strong balance of technical expertise and project management skills with ability to collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English
  • Candidate must be driven, motivated, and passionate with a strong sense of urgency
  • Can effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management certification is a plus
