Position Title: Head, Employee and Industrial Relations Division
Job Summary:
The Employee and Industrial Relations Executive supports the Human Resources Management Group by enabling a high‑performance work environment. The role contributes to effective employee relations, grievance handling, administrative case processes, union-management partnership, and compliance with labor and OSH standards. The position also drives employee engagement initiatives ensuring a better workplace experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages industrial and labor relations strategies, including grievance management, case administration, and employment law compliance.
- Develops strategies and/ framework for collective bargaining CBA provisions and for collaborative union–management relations.
- Drives employee engagement, work–life, and internal communication programs.
- Leads the design and development of management practices to create better workplace experience.
- Collaborates with stakeholders – i.e., internal HR teams and external agencies or partners to support ER/IR initiatives, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Legal Management, Communication Arts, or a related field.
- 10-year experience in employee relations, labor relations, case handling, or HR operations is an advantage.
- Experience in Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, labor standards, and OSH requirements.
- Strong communication, writing, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in HRIS or case management systems, and comfort with data and reporting tools.
