Position Title: Head, Learning Delivery Management

Job Summary:
- Manages the budget, expenses, facilities, financial transactions, databases/records and reporting requirements of the Metrobank Academy.
- Provides effective administrative support in the implementation of various training programs.
- Oversees seamless implementation of all Institutional training programs (i.e. onboarding, leadership, development programs).

Filing and Database Management
- Oversees the development and management of the Bank’s training database.
- Ensures accuracy of all employees’ training take-up information.
- Ensures proper safekeeping and implementation of training contracts, training exam materials and other critical training documents.
- Supervises the shredding of the examination papers/purging training files upon reaching their destruction date.
Training Facility Management
- Ensures the upkeep, orderliness and cleanliness of training equipment and facilities.
- Facilitates accreditation and reaccreditation of hotels and external accommodation and training venues.
- Conducts research with General Services Group (GSG) and external product suppliers to upgrade and upkeep equipment and facilities.
- Ensures and provides close coordination for logistical support e.g. furniture, repairs and installation, flight tickets, budgets, transportation and dispatch of circulars/memoranda, training schedules in close coordination with Business Partnership Officers and/or Team Leads and Program Management Teams.
- Liaises with Heads of security and maintenance to ensure proper housekeeping and aesthetic requirements of training facilities.
- Conducts inventory of all training equipment and paraphernalia.
Budget Management and Controls
- Prepares and manages the corporate training budget.
- Reviews requests for payment of training expenses.
- Ensures that monthly expenses incurred in training are recorded and reported.
- Monitors expenses versus training budget.
- Approves reimbursements for transportation (trip/flight tickets) and accommodation (including hotel and staff house request) of training participants within authorized limits.
- Ensures that the training policies, operations manual and implementing guidelines are updated and synchronized.
- Analyzes training expenses and studies/recommends cost saving solutions (e.g. alternative delivery modes/channels, etc.)
- Oversees Metrobank Academy housekeeping and compliance to bank controls, safekeeping of training documents/file management.
Training Administration
- Ensures smooth conduct of all training programs.
- Ensures that there is no conflict in the schedule of training programs.
- Broadcasts the training calendar in appropriate venues.
- Ensures the availability of recommended resource speakers / Subject Matter Experts.
- Oversees the accreditation of training providers.
- Ensures timely preparation and reproduction of training materials.
- Ensures that required training contracts are signed by participants/training providers before the actual run.
- Organizes the training logistics.
Training Evaluation
- Maintains policies and procedures for training test administration and safekeeping and updating of all training tests and evaluation tools.
- Ensures that all training tests are updated and well-kept.
- Supervises the administration of tests and reporting of results for training programs.
- Supervises follow-through on training programs based on training evaluation or feedback.
Management Reports
- Ensures preparation of timely and accurate management reports
Others
- Provides strong leadership and exercise of management skills to ensure team engagement, optimum productivity, retention and skills training.
- Ensures good housekeeping and administrative efficiency of the unit including but not limited to, files, retention, and expense management
- Provides continuous mentoring, learning and development opportunities to team members.
- Ensures that compliance/regulatory requirements are met for assigned programs and enforces consistent quality/standards in training management.
- Conducts continuous workflow review and implements process efficiency improvements as necessary.
- Ensures completeness and accuracy of databases and industry data collection necessary in generating reports, which serve as basis for decision making or next level action
- Maintains network with external counterparts for benchmarking and updates.
- Provides consultancy services to subsidiaries on HR matters in the area of specialization.
- Conducts/facilitates training programs as needed.
- Performs other related functions/projects that may be assigned from time to time.
