Position Title: Head, Omnichannel Experience Design Department

Job Summary:

 

The Head of Omnichannel Experience Design is responsible for leading all initiatives in design that contribute to the development and delivery of a consistent, un-complicated and delightful banking experience across channels and customer touchpoints, both offline and online. 

 

He or she will oversee the teams of experience designers, digital product managers and QA specialists while collaborating closely with ABCMTG divisions and other business units to ensure the delivery of useful products and great experiences for the customers of the Bank. The Omnichannel Experience Design Head is the primary advocate of human centered design in the Bank and will always champion the customer in the design and development of the Bank’s products, channels and services.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Works closely with the other divisions of ABCMTG to ensure alignment in goals and experience in the Bank’s integrated marketing efforts.
  • Oversee the design of customer journeys and puts in place the necessary processes and infrastructure to achieve desired customer experience.
  • Establishes the necessary roadmaps, with specific initiatives, budgets, and timelines necessary to execute all assigned priority projects for the Omnichannel Experience Design Department.
  • Ensures proper structures and documentation are in place to facilitate transparency and good governance in all Omnichannel Experience Design Department projects.
  • Evangelize the design strategy and human centered design to key business units and senior officers of the Bank.
  • Help ensure that all product or channel initiatives are being designed to be more customer centric, and the Bank is moving towards seamless, omnichannel experiences.
  • Research and analyzes market, technology and design trends, competitor products and initiatives, and other relevant information to helping the Bank in its efforts to design and build omnichannel experiences.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and mentorship to department members; provides key insights for performance reviews.
  • Manages and/or engages with agencies and vendors assigned to work on omnichannel experience design activities.
  • Works within the department budget to develop cost-effective design and development plans for the Bank as an institution and for its products, channels, and services.
  • Tracks all milestones and KRAs in projects being managed and participate in crafting detailed written reports and presentations for sharing to senior executives.
  • Should be able to deliver other requirements of the team that will be assigned from time to time.
