Position Title: Head, Reconciliation Section

 

 

Job Summary:

 

Responsible in managing the investigation and complaint resolution of MBTC and other banks cardholders’ transactions passing through own ATM/CAM/CRM terminals as well as inter-subsidiary, BancNet and international network including bank’s own e-channels within the prescribed TAT. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

 

  • Supervises the section’s operations pertaining to investigation and complaint resolution of issuing and acquiring transactions within the prescribed TAT.  These transactions include but are not limited to the following:
    • ATM Withdrawal /Cash Advance
    • Deposit via CAM/CRM
    • Local & International Point-Of-Sale (POS) / e-Commerce
    • Inter-Bank Funds Transfer (IBFT) /Instapay/Pesonet
    • Inter-Subsidiary (PSBank)
    • E-Load
    • E-Gov
    • Cash Pick Up (Domestic Remittance) 

 

  • Supervises the monitoring of chargeback/representment of local and international (Mastercard & VISA) issuing and acquiring transactions. 
  • Supervises the investigation of Mastercard (SMS/DMS/AFD) transactions. 
  • Performs thorough checking and verification of transactions or requests prior to approval.
  • Act as back-up in the approval of issuance of charge slips to other banks, etc. if any, to Settlement Department (SD) and other internal and external parties.
  • Provides support to branch, Contact Center, CMSU, BrAD on matters related to investigation of complaints and/or their ATM/CAM/CRM float items/discrepancies.
  • Liaises with local banks, BancNet and international networks as required.
  • Exercises and executes the check and balance of all investigation activities in consonance with bank’s policies and procedures among the staff.
  • Participates/implements appropriate automation project, internal control measures and/or procedures to achieve efficient and improved backroom processes, if any and as required.
  • Update department’s policy via L3 as necessary.
  • Prepares/reviews all unit’s related reports.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Must have at least two years of related experience in the banking industry
  • Experience in using data visualization tools such as, but not limited to, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
  • Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills
  • Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills
