Position Title: MIS Officer
Job Summary
- The position is responsible for the production of and collation of regular and ad-hoc business reports primarily for CREAD. The jobholder conducts studies and generation of management information reports, strategies, credit risk analysis, portfolio analysis, production reports and day 2 queries.
- The position ensures that effective analysis tools are developed and customized for efficient, timely, and accurate data reporting using MIS automation. He/She also assists other Section Managers/Head in projects and other adhoc MIS requirements.
- He/ She supports the business to identify possible opportunities & risks to business through performance reviews, clean-up and monitoring and develops report architectures that will improve the efficiency and accuracy of department-wide reporting methods.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Generates regular reports to effectively monitor the various key performance indicators of the Department
- Participates in User Acceptance Test on MIS-related requirements for new systems implemented
- Participates in the testing and validation of the data quality and accuracy to support new credit test programs, process improvements or system enhancements.
- Manages the MI request process that would ensure documentation of all new, revised, and sunset reports.
- Perform other tasks, responsibilities, projects which may be assigned from time to time (eg. BORC, BCP, Cost Champion, Corp. Correspondent, Line trainer, e-Champ, etc.)
- Design reports for monitoring of credit tests initiated by Credit Acquisition and come up with an analysis as basis for the regularization of the program
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably graduate of Statistics or Business course; units or master's degree in statistics or business is an advantage
- With 2 to 3 years solid programming experience, proficient in SAS or other related MIS tools and possesses good technical computer skills
- Has at least 2 years of work related experience in a financial institution focused on credit card and retail loans
- SAS – Advanced level; Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge on Microsoft Access and Monarch is an advantage
- Willing to report onsite - Makati office
