Position Title: Portfolio Manager – Portfolio Health
Job Summary:
The jobholder will drive credit portfolio growth to achieve the Bank’s profitability targets, guided by specific guardrails to mitigate credit risk. S/he is responsible for the 1) study and development of early engagement framework in order to ensure active engagement of newly acquired cardholders 2) development and implementation of early engagement programs; and, 3) proactive monitoring of business KPIs such as activation rate, first usage rate and billings of new to bank cardholders; 4) Development of customer education content to guide newly acquired cardholders on how to properly manage their credit cards
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Achieve overall key performance indicators related but not limited to early engagement metrics/ portfolio health metrics
- Manage portfolio-specific KPIs such as: billings, activation rate, first usage rate, authorizations approval rate, ANR and delinquency rates.
- Conceptualize, create, implement, manage and track assigned early engagement initiatives such as, but not limited to the following:
- Lead the development of the early engagement framework;
- Develop and implement early engagement initiatives for new to bank cardholders
- Craft customer education content for new to bank cardholders
- Oversee implementation and management of initiatives for Portfolio Health;
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams in the roll out of marketing communications and campaigns in improving early engagement metrics;
- Coordinate with Product and data science teams in monitoring the guardrails/ performance of new to bank cardholders;
- Ensure regulatory compliance for all implemented initiatives.
- Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure smooth and effective implementation of various portfolio health programs.
- Justify assigned programs, ensuring they are within the parameters of accurate financial and risk models and manage costs based on approved budgets.
- Develop and enhance end-to-end processes / initiatives related to portfolio health.
- Perform projects/responsibilities/special tasks that may be assigned from time to time (eg. BORC, BCP, Cost Champion, e-Champ, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a college/university and preferably a graduate of a business course.
- Has at least 5 years solid experience in Marketing in an officer/managerial level
- Has broad understanding of the different areas of the credit card business and the capacity to relate unit’s operations and performance metrics to the overall business of the company.
- Possess strong inter-personal skills
- Has strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
