Position Title: People & Market Insights Officer

 

Job Summary People & Market Insights Officer supports the head in bridging business stakeholders and market research agencies, helping translate business challenges into research objectives and ensuring actionable research outcomes. They assist in managing multiple research initiatives and occasionally lead small-scale projects to support strategic goals.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

Market Research:

  • Conduct small-scale primary and secondary research to understand market conditions, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative methods to gather insights.
  • Do field research to spot audit research projects with third-party research agencies.

Consultative Partnership:

  • Act as an internal market research consultant, guiding cross functional teams on the best methodologies to address business challenges and drive decision-making.
  • Translate business needs into clear, well-structured research objectives, hypotheses, and plans that align with strategic goals.

Project Management

  • Oversee multiple concurrent research projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of market research projects with internal stakeholders, external research agencies, and vendors.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Use data visualization tools to make complex data understandable and actionable.

Tool Proficiency:

  • Utilize various analytical tools and software such as Excel, SurveyMonkey, Google Analytics, PowerBI, and Tableau to conduct analyses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience from a Market Research agency
  • Exposure to client side
  • Proven experience in market research and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and software (e.g., Excel, SurveyMonkey, Google Analytics, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
