Position Title: Policy Specialist
Job Summary:
Conducts research and studies to develop and propose improvements to the Bank’s policies, procedures and organization covering areas that are of moderate to high complexity and broad organizational impact.
Contributes to ensuring that policies and procedures are aligned with the Bank’s overall strategy, promote good risk management, consistent with the best practices in process design and policy development, and compliant with external regulations.
Partners with client counterparts (officers and staff) and, where necessary, leads project teams to evaluate and develop policy/procedural changes.
Serves as a resource for identifying and interpreting Bank policy for his or her area of assignment/specialization (in particular) and for banking operations (in general).
Role Exposure :
- Be trained to do policy reviews and revisions.
- Enhance your stakeholder management skills thru communicating with different units
- Improve skills in documentation and planning
Qualifications:
- Experience in policy improvement, operational procedures and implementation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Strong verbal / written communications. Must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners
