JOB SUMMARY:
The role will drive credit portfolio growth to achieve the Bank’s profitability targets, guided by specific guardrails to mitigate credit risk. Responsible for the 1) creation of line management frameworks that will assign the optimal credit limits at acquisition and portfolio; 2) development and implementation of line utilization programs; and, 3) proactive monitoring of business and risk KPIs such as billings, utilization rate, authorizations approval rate, NPAT, ANR and delinquency rates, in relation to the line management activities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve overall key performance indicators related but not limited to credit line assignment, portfolio line management and line utilization.
- Manage portfolio-specific KPIs such as: billings, utilization rate, authorizations approval rate, ANR and delinquency rates.
- Conceptualize, create, implement, manage and track assigned line management initiatives such as, but not limited to the following:
- Lead the development of the line management framework;
- Develop and implement line management credit tests for identified segments that will be given an increase / decrease in credit limit, extended authorizations limit and/or new parameters at acquisition;
- Oversee implementation and management of initiatives for line management and line utilization;
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams in the roll out of marketing communications and campaigns in improving the billings and utilization rate post-limit maintenance;
- Coordinate with risk and data science teams in monitoring the guardrails for line management initiatives;
- Ensure regulatory compliance for all implemented initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a college/university and preferably a graduate of a business course.
- Has at least 5 years solid experience in Marketing and/or Credit Risk and/or Credit BIU, in an officer/managerial level
- Has broad understanding of the different areas of the credit card business and the capacity to relate unit’s operations and performance metrics to the overall business of the company.
- Possess strong inter-personal skills
- Has strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
