Position Title: Sales Training Team Leader
Job Summary:
This position
responsible for leading a team of trainers in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs enabling Credit Card Sales (Internal and External stakeholders) with the necessary product and system knowledge, selling techniques, process compliance, and customer engagement skills.
This role ensures that the training initiatives drive sales performance, maintain standards, and support business targets.
In addition to training, this role is responsible for planning and executing employee engagement programs that enhance motivation, reinforce learning, and promote high-performance culture. It also includes developing communication materials for cascades.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and supervise a team of trainers responsible for delivering sales training and engagement programs.
- Allocate training schedules and manage trainer assignments based on business priorities and capacity.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify upskilling opportunities, and support continuous development of the training team.
- Lead the design and maintain comprehensive Credit Card Sales training programs covering product and system knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, compliance, and customer engagement skills.
- Oversee the development of refresher courses and upskilling modules based on performance analysis, business needs, and regulatory/process updates.
- Collaborate with Product, HR, Compliance, and Sales teams to ensure all training content is current, relevant, and aligned with standards.
- Provide guidance and direction to the training team, ensuring high-quality program delivery and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the effective delivery of training sessions across all internal and external partner channels.
- Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions for new campaigns, product launches, and process changes.
- Monitor training quality through regular audits, participant evaluations, and feedback to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Lead the planning and execution of engagement initiatives to boost motivation, teamwork and sales culture.
- Oversee the development of clear and engaging communication materials (e.g., newsletters, edm, training updates, etc) to promote awareness across all sales channels.
- Track and analyze the impact of training on key metrics such as sales performance/productivity, conversion rates, and compliance adherence.
- Provide training effectiveness performance reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Support Units, etc) to align training initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all training and engagement-related needs within the Credit Card Sales.
