The Technical Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that software applications, systems, and integrations align with organizational goals. This role involves requirement gathering, process analysis, technical documentation, and collaboration with development teams to optimize business workflows and technology implementations.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

 

Business & Technical Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for software solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT solutions.
  • Engage in cross-functional tasks and emerging priorities as directed by leadership.

 

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
  • Assist in API integration, system interoperability, and data flow optimization.
  • Define workflow automation strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Support testing, debugging, and validation of new systems.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather insights.
  • Provide technical advisory to stakeholders on system capabilities.
  • Ensure clear documentation of business processes and technical solutions.

 

Data & Performance Analysis

  • Conduct data analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
  • Ensure data integrity and governance in technical implementations.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, system integration, or software development.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and process modeling tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
