Position Title: Programmer Analyst

 

Job Summary:

Responsible for the support, maintenance, delivery of enhancements for existing application functionalities and service catalogue requests for application services assigned
• Provide second-level support for assigned production-related application incidents within established service level requirements and/or coordinate support needed with vendor.
• Minimize the occurrence of application incidents by investigating, analyzing, developing and implementing corrective measures as directed
• Codes programs to support the requirements documented in approved requirements documents and/or technical design documents.
• Performs unit testing verifying test results; Provide technical support during systems/systems integration testing and user acceptance testing where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in application support
  • Programming Languages:  Cobol Mainfraime, PowerShell Scripting,  PL/SQL Development, .Net
  • Database Technologies and Management  Tools:  Microsoft SQL
  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles
  • Client L1/L2 Support and Service Management  experience would be an added advantage
  • Experience or Knowledge of Banking Domain would be an added advantage
  • Knowledgeable on  ITIL process would be an added advantage
