Position Title: Collections Manager
Job Summary:
The job holder manages the Hardcore (60 – 89 DPD accounts) Collections Specialists to ensure that all collection activities are conducted in accordance with performance and productivity standards and within guidelines. He/she participates in team planning for appropriate strategies to drive and sustain improvement and to achieve collection goals.
- Monitor team performance
- Control delinquency of assigned group of accounts within set standards
- Minimize risk and credit losses
- Address various customer issues
- Management of Debt Collection Service Providers
Role Exposure:
- Broaden one's knowledge in credit card operations
- Enhance one’s skills in customer handling, decision making, and negotiation
- Join a customer-oriented team of highly motivated individuals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder; preferably graduate of business course
- At least 3 years of collections experience in recoveries preferably from credit card company, bank or collection agencies
- At least 3 years people management experience preferably handling collection assistants
- Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge on collection system and policies/procedures is an advantage
