Position Title: Card Sales Officer
Job Summary:
The position is responsible for soliciting credit card applications through consultative selling via different acquisitions models e.g. corporate selling and partnerships, booth selling activities in offices and in strategic locations, along with other similar acquisition activities set by the Management.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures the achievement of card acquisition targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis utilizing all available resources to maximize sales opportunities and drive program execution.
- Promote the adoption of digital application fulfillment.
- Pro-actively participates in the identification of acquisition opportunities in alternative channels such as Corporate engagement programs, partnerships, collaborations to differentiate Metrobank vs competition.
- Generate quality turn-ins, approval and CPA, based on the agreed metrics
- Manage the ratio of Premium to Non-Premium card acquisition
- Periodic competitive reports and trends to be provided to head office based on insights, feedback and observations on ground
- Escalate issues to his Immediate Supervisor/ Unit Head that may result to Bank risk.
- Perform projects/ responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree course
- With at least 1 year of sales experience (F2F and/or telemarketing), preferably in a credit card company / financial institution but open to consider talent from Consumer and B2B in similar industries.
- Basic supervisory experience
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Basic critical thinking
- Basic presentation skills
- Proficient with various software applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in the use of digital tools to carry out automation and digital transformation initiatives
- With a keen understanding of the business
- Results-driven, hardworking, willing to learn and with pleasing personality
- Adaptable to different scenarios and can readily pivot
- Professional demeanor, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- Willing to extend hours, work on weekends and holidays
- Willing to go on fieldwork and engage several levels of Corporate accounts and organizations
