Position Title: Senior Network Administrator

 

Job Summary:

  • Works under the supervision of the department head and is responsible for the support maintenance, delivery of enhancement requests initiatives for Metrobank’s network infrastructure, covering LAN, WAN, Voice, and Telecommunications.
  • Design, evaluate, install, establish, oversee and provides senior leadership in the maintenance and administration of major, complex and enterprise-level network infrastructure solutions in response to the customer requirements. 
  • Provide technical support and consultation to Data Center Operations, Enterprise Solution Architect, Service Management and Operations, Service Support units and Bank subsidiaries.  Plan, prepare, recommend and implement strategic roadmaps for the bank’s enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Acts as the Lead Network Administrator in scheduling, planning, and supporting complex to highly complex network projects, including end-to-end implementation and post-deployment support.
  • Facilitates the installation, upgrade, and fulfillment of service requests for all voice and data services with Telecommunications Service Providers, including the resolution of outages and technical issues affecting voice services deployed at the Head Office, Centers, and Branches.
  • Performs peer reviews of deliverables and configurations produced by fellow Network Administrators to ensure compliance with standards, accuracy, and operational readiness.

Qualifications:

·         Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including routing, switching, and network protocols.

·         Proficient in managing and supporting enterprise network technologies, including:

    • Cisco ACI and Nexus platforms
    • HPE / HP network infrastructure
    • F5 load balancers and Wireless Access Point (WAP) solutions
    • SD-WAN, VMware NSX, and VMware networking technologies
    • Avaya and Verint voice and contact center infrastructure
    • Telecommunications technologies such as SIP, ISDN, PBX, and IVRS
    • Advanced skills in network design and architecture, including enterprise and large-scale network environments.

·     Demonstrated experience in managing complex to highly complex network infrastructure setups, including multi-site and mission-critical environments.

·   Advanced capabilities in network monitoring and performance management, utilizing modern monitoring, alerting, and analytics technologies.
