Branch Head, Commonwealth Avenue - Batasan Hills Branch
Position Title: Branch Head – Branch Banking Sector
Job Summary:
- The Branch Head is responsible for driving business growth, leading branch operations, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Other key duties include implementing management strategies to enhance profitability and service quality, resolving complex customer issues by doing root cause analysis to ensure it does not recur, and managing team members.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Generation:
- Ensure proper alignment of branch operations with institutional goals by executing and monitoring progress of strategies designed to meet or exceed branch sales targets for deposits, loans, investments, and other key products and services.
- Deepens customer engagement by driving multi-product sales strategies, identifying cross-selling opportunities and providing consistent after-sales support to boost customer satisfaction and retention.
- Expand client base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and attracting new clients through networking with local businesses, community organizations and other sources.
- Enhance customer experience to drive branch profitability by analyzing market trends and to offer products aligned with customer needs.
- Make informed decisions by analyzing sales performance data, conducting competitor analysis and staying vigilant for emerging risks that could impact branch operations and performance
Operational Efficiency:
- Increase operational efficiency by optimizing workforce productivity and efficiency of the branch by spearheading process and policy enhancements that would drive better results.
Customer Centricity:
- Foster customer retention by building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent delivery of quality customer experience, and leading resolution of complex customer issues.
People Development:
- Cultivate a performance-driven culture focused on achieving operational and sales objectives by continuously mentoring and training branch personnel and supporting their career growth.
- Instill the importance of upholding integrity and adherence to Bank’s core values while generating business and achieving sales objectives
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or any related field
- Master’s degree or relevant post-graduate studies is an advantage
Licensure and/or Certification Required:
- Certifications in sales, leadership, or banking operations (e.g., Certified Branch Manager, AML Certification) are preferred but not required
3. Experience:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in banking, including at least five (5) years in a managerial or supervisory role within branch operations
- Proven track record in sales generation, client relationship management, and team leadership
- Experience in overseeing full branch operations, including customer service, compliance, and operational risk management
