Job Title: Account Officer
Job Summary:
- 
This position is responsible for managing loan booking/release from approval of the account until compliance/submission of loan terms and conditions until booking and ensuring compliance to regulatory and credit policies of the Bank.
 
Specific Competencies:
- 
Drives the booking of approved loans.
 - 
Confirmation of approval terms and conditions with clients/branches.
 - 
Pre-screens loan and collateral documents as to completeness and sufficiency.
 - 
Facilitates loan document signing and regular coordination with clients/branches.
 - 
Liaises with internal and external clients for the submission of documents or perform any process necessary for booking of the loan.
 - 
Provides clients/branches with regular updates on the status of loan booking.
 - 
Tracks and monitors document deficiencies. Follow up submission as deemed necessary.
 - 
Handles pre-booking related inquiries, requests, and concerns.
 - 
Contributes to the enhancement and implementation of loan programs.
 - 
Recommends policy, process, and system improvement of the Department/Division.
 - 
Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
 
Qualifications:
- 
Bachelor’s degree in any course
 - 
2–3 years of experience as an Account Officer, specifically handling home loans or mortgage accounts
