Position Ttile: Business Governance Officer
Job Summary:
The Business Governance & Compliance Manager is responsible for reviewing regulatory, industry, and bank internal policies and how these impact the campaigns and programs to be implemented for bank deposit customers. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and risk awareness while supporting strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Governance Frameworks
- Develop and maintain governance structures, policies, and procedures to support effective decision-making and operational oversight.
- Ensure alignment of business processes with corporate governance standards and regulatory expectations.
Compliance Management
- Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies to ensure business compliance.
- Lead the implementation of compliance programs, including training, monitoring, and reporting.
Risk and Control Oversight
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and operational risks across business units.
- Coordinate with Risk Management and Internal Audit to address control gaps and implement corrective actions.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Prepare regular reports on governance and compliance metrics, issues, and resolutions for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for compliance activities and decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the liaison between business units, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure consistent application of governance and compliance standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, or internal audit.

Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance principles, and risk management practices.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

High attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive information.
