Position Title: IT Business Relationship Lead

 

Job Summary: 

 

Information Technology’s single point-of-contact for the business sector and/or segment. Champions the partnership between ITG and a specific businesssector and/or segment, ensuring alignment with the committed IT strategy activities. Oversees the business sector’s IT portfolio and spearheads the end to- end delivery of IT projects and requests from ideation to implementation.Manages incident and problem resolution for applications affecting the business, and provides key leaders of the business sector and/or segment with visibility into IT activities. Serves as the escalation point for all IT concerns within the business unit. Leads the Business Unit Engagement Team, composed of resources across key roles, who possess a consolidated view and knowledge of various ITG areas relevant to the supported sector and/or segment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Escalation and Integration point for all IT activities and concerns for the business sector and/or segment and IT.

 

Partnership and Relationship Management:

  • Drive the collaboration between ITG and the business sector and/or segment.
  • Define and drive the IT strategy to support the sector and/or segment.
  • Ensure alignment with the committed IT strategy.
  • Conduct regular touchpoints with sector and/or segment and group heads to provide key information on IT projects and operations.
  • Drive issue and risk management for the IT strategy and technology agenda and activities of the business sector and/or segment

 

Portfolio Management:

  • Oversees the business sector and/or segment’s IT portfolio
  • Manages the overall IT budget for the sector and/or segment
  • Engage with key vendors supporting the sector and/or segment

 

Business Engagement Lead

  • Implement the overall IT strategy and architecture across the projects and support provided to the business
  • Spearhead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects and requests from ideation to implementation.

 

IT Operations Oversight:

  • Manage incident and problem resolution for applications affecting the business.
  • Provide key leaders of the sector and/or segment with visibility into IT operations on key metrics such as availability, detection and recoverability and top production
    incidents, and the like

 

Lead the Business Unit Engagement Team

  • Foster collaboration and teamwork with business units, key personnel, and stakeholders within and outside IT
  • Stay current on IT technology and innovations, advising the business segment on IT matters.
  • Advance the key initiatives of IT.
  • Supervise the team’s work, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate allocation of resources.
  • Direct the overall management, coordination, and evaluation of the team’s resources. Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable
    laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Develop relationships with strategic IT vendor partners that will be relevant to the business sector and/or segment, as well as ITG.
