Position Title: Credit Operations Assistant

 

Job Summary:
 

Credit Operations is dedicated to supporting Credit Group by managing critical systems, data, processes, and tools that ensure the efficiency and integrity of credit-related activities.

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Play a key role in the day-to-day operations involving credit evaluation, loan approval processes, and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Institutional Banking Sector, Information Technology Group, General Services, Controllership Group – Records Management Department, and Business Financial Planning and Analysis Department.
  • Provide operational support for Credit Group-owned systems, including daily monitoring and maintenance.
  • Monitor risk rating movements of approved credit proposals for inclusion in weekly and monthly reports.
  • Maintain and update both electronic and physical documentation in accordance with internal policies
  • Assist with logistical and administrative requirements, including office supply requests, IT and non-IT equipment requisitions, inventory management and mailing services.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing and submitting required documentation.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of management-led events such as Townhall sessions, Credit Conferences, team building activities and other corporate events.
  • Contribute to operational improvements to streamline procedures and enhance service to the team and stakeholders.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:

  • Exposure in banking industry with good understanding of credit processes
  • Experience with technology, systems and/or enterprise software
  • Proficient in MS 365 Applications such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and MS Teams
  • Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders within the Bank
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
