Position Title: Construction Management Officer
Job Summary:
- Conducts inspections, documents, represents and coordinates with Architects, Designers, Consultants, Project Engineers, Suppliers, Contractors, and Operational Units on the status of renovations / relocation of all branches and Head Office units nationwide
Role Exposure:
- Coordinates with Architects, Contractors and Suppliers all renovation/construction requirements of branches, and Head office units nationwide
- Inspects proposed project sites together with Branch Support Center, Business Units & Architects/Designer/Consultants
- Facilitates the timely submission of preliminary layout and drawings for the review and approval of Unit Heads
- Conducts pre-construction conferences prior to mobilization of projects to ensure that contractors and the branch are aware of the activities and timelines during branch renovation
- Coordinates with concerned units/branches/BSC and Contractors the actual implementation of construction projects
- Coordinate with the supplier and facilitate the timely delivery of Owner Supplied Materials on site
- Coordinates with the Architects/Designers/Consultants and Contractors the implementation of projects and review and endorse payment for services rendered during and upon completion of the projects
- Secures construction/renovation inputs/requirements of other bank units (e.g. ITG, RBG, etc.) needed to complete the project
- Inspects projects and verifies percentage of accomplishment including punch-listing and turnover of completed projects
- Ensures construction and renovation work are completed within the prescribed turn-around time ( TAT )
- Implements cost efficiency and cost savings measures, wherever applicable
- Review payment for services rendered during and upon completion of the projects
- Reviews/encodes all billings in GSG’s application system
- Ensures that all completed projects are fully documented on each 201 file
- Recommends new ideas and systems procedure that maybe adopted for the improvement of department
- Undertakes any other duties that may be assigned/required by management
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years’ related experience in Construction
- 5 years’ of experience in Construction Management
- Graduate of Architecture or Engineering
- Licensed Engineer / Architect
