  4. Collaboration and Development: Fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture and continuously upgrading skills and knowledge relevant to credit risk management.

Role Exposure:

    • Ensure robust risk assessment processes for all consumer lending products by maintaining high asset quality and minimize default risks.
  1. Portfolio Performance Monitoring, Analytics and Reporting:
  • Monitor and report on key credit risk metrics (e.g., delinquency rates, charge-offs, portfolio performance) to provide timely insights and recommendations to stakeholders for proactive risk management.
  • Build and maintain historical databases for risk analysis to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of risk models.
  • Identify emerging risks and trends to equip senior management with actionable intelligence for strategic planning.
  1. Credit Risk Mitigation and Strategy
  • Identify risky segments and recommend exclusion or controls to prevent onboarding of high-risk profiles and improve overall portfolio quality.
  • Conduct credit testing to explore new segments to support business growth while maintaining risk appetite and asset quality.
  • Recommend policy enhancements based on internal and external factors to align risk exposure with the bank’s capital, capabilities, and market conditions.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with underwriting, collections, compliance and finance teams to ensure a unified and effective approach to credit risk management.
  • Communicate strategies and performance to CBS stakeholders, senior management and the Board of Directors to promote transparency and informed decision-making at all levels.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure awareness and adherence to all regulatory requirements to achieve full compliance and avoid audit findings or penalties.
  • Review and recommend credit policies and procedures to maintain sound lending practices and appropriate risk tolerance.
