Position Title: Credit Risk Manager (Portfolio, Mis & Analytics)

 

Job Summary:
 

  • The position is responsible for identifying trends, potential credit issues, implement control and continuously monitor to strengthen credit control to ensure portfolio quality. He/She should be able to conduct studies and portfolio analysis on line management, portfolio action and authorizations. He/She also in charge in monitoring, overseeing and formulating risk mitigation guidelines, policies, and strategies to assist early fraud detection (both issuing & acquiring), prevention and/or control for consumer lending business.


Role Exposure:
 

  • Identify trends, potential credit issues and effect findings to strengthen credit control and ensure consumer lending portfolio quality
  • Ensure appropriateness and consistency of credit tools to the business objectives
  • Timely review of line management and other portfolio action programs to identify revenue and risk drivers for a more profitable and effective portfolio management.
  • Propose implementation of behavior and/or alternative scorecard for line management and portfolio action programs.
  • Aid in the identification of opportunities to improve billings by reviewing authorizations parameters which includes STIP and Authorizations Tolerance.
  • Conduct annual review of Corporate cards, other sub products and programs
  • Conduct annual review of accredited merchants
  • Develop credit MIS reports with analysis and recommendation and other ad hoc reports to management
  • Implement and monitor fraud and chargeback programs consistent with accepted business risk under the Consumer Business Sector.
  • Coordinate with other departments for proper policy and strategy communication and implementation
  • Submit other ad-hoc MIS as requested by the supervisor and provide support or backup to other Credit Risk Managers
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably graduate of statistics or business course; units or master’s degree in statistics or business is an advantage
  • Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong background and knowledge on SAS programming is a must
