Position Title: Data Quality Engineer

 

Job Summary:
 

  • The Data Quality Engineer is responsible in ensuring data quality across the end-to-end data life cycle.
  • He / She is tasked to surface data quality issues, identify sub-optimal data processes and recommend corrective actions, process control and improvements.
  • He / She shall develop data quality metrics and monitor data quality performance to ensure that the bank meets data quality standards.

  Role Exposure:

 

  • Identify data quality gaps and areas for data quality improvement
  • Develop codes to measure data quality metrics and deliver data quality monitoring reports
  • Conduct continuous review of data processes and system performance to identify patterns and trends that may indicate errors, inconsistencies, redundancy and inefficiency
  • Recommend appropriate correction, process control and process improvement mechanisms to address data issues and data quality gaps
  • Develop and implement new data quality processes to increase data integrity

 Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles and standards
  • Understanding of data process flow
  • Data programming / coding
  • Logical thinking 
  • Aptitude to learn new technology
