Position Title: Deputy Head, IT Management Division
Job Summary:
- Directs the overall support activities of the group on assets and inventory; budget and expenses; service reporting and relevant metrics; trainings and resource management
- Responsible for the formulation of policies and procedures and in the administration of quality assurance and improvement program of ITG; and to track ITG-related audit and regulator issues for its timely resolution
Role Exposure:
- Accountable for the overall delivery of service support department and process excellence department in ITG including but not limited to the following:
- IT Budget and Expenses
- Bank’s IT Assets
- Staffing and Development of ITG resources
- ITG Metrics and Performance
- Policies and Standard Procedures
- Audit and Compliance Items
- Leads intra-divisional activities like personnel development, training, research, budget management, and policies review/improvement
- Directs coordination, and evaluation of the division’s employees; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; namely, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Ensures compliance with internal and external policies, security and legal regulatory requirements as applicable. Supports audit exercises when needed
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology and/or equivalent
- Has at least 10 years’ experience in people management
- Solid experience in process improvement / continuous improvement
