Position Title:  Head, Development Assembly Testing Section

 

Job Summary

The Development Assembly Test Section Head manages the software development assembly test quality assurance delivery, focus on test automation of the bank’s enterprise-wide suite of applications. 

The Section Head manages the assembly test automation testing scope of projects for the bank. He/she has significant involvement in assembly test automation testing activities in relation to the implementation of technology-enabled strategic and tactical business initiatives for the bank. He/she focuses on maintaining overall satisfaction with the quality and timeliness of development services provided by ITG and is responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation of the respective assembly test group which includes workload prioritizing, testing recommendations, staff hiring, ITG policy formulation, financial and budgetary controls, and identifying operational needs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the visioning of exercise to development and implement medium to long-term innovative plans for assembly test organization, to effectively and economically meet current and anticipated future demands of the bank. 
  • Regularly reviews assembly testing delivery progress status reports.
  • Handles personnel management including recruitment and selection, supervision, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals; develops and trains staff to ensure high skill levels.
  • Contributes to activities like development planning, training, research, budget management, and policies review/improvement. 
  • Drives assembly test and execution practices as well as continues improvement initiatives in the assembly test automation and frameworks. 
  • Prepares capacity status report.
  • Handles personnel management including recruitment and selection, supervision, and performance appraisals.  Develops and trains staff to ensure adequate and current skill sets.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
