Position Title:  Head, Digital Channel Section

Job Summary: Works under the general direction & supervision of the Department Head.
 

Role Exposure: Manages the section’s personnel focusing on the support and maintenance of application in Production that have been transitioned from other IT Delivery units; from time to time, develop key initiatives that enhance application stability, or customer experience or improve business unit’s operational efficiency.

  • Initiates and fosters effective liaisons with other ITG sections and departments.
  • Manage section personnel focused on production support and maintenance of applications
  • Lead initiatives to enhance application stability and customer experience
  • Drive improvements in operational efficiency for business units
  • Role involves managing a team that handles on-call and overtime duties for production support
  • Equivalent roles outside Metrobank: L2 Support Head or Team Lead

 

Qualifications:

 

Hard Skills: 

  • Proficiency in programming languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, Python 
  • Strong background in database management
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies
  • Project management experience 

 

Soft Skills: 

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset Adaptability to dynamic environments
