Job Summary:

The HR Policy and Process Advisor will be responsible for contributing to policy development by providing insights, benchmarking, laying out the groundwork, facilitating discussions in creating and amending HR policies, partnering with stakeholders (HRMG units, other bank units) for policy write-ups, contributing to process review by providing insights, challenging current practices, verifying consistencies of  HR processes, enhancing control measures, simplifying reporting procedures or reducing costs, and providing advice and guidance on matters relating to HR policies, e.g., to resolve, implement, manage policy issues that involve areas of uncertainty in approach or methodology.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Has well developed knowledge of HR policies and processes
  2. Intellectual curiosity with ability to challenge status quo
  3. Solid background in evaluating and developing policy/procedural changes
  4. Significant experience in change management
  5. Knowledge of project management methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma
  6. Staying current on labor and/or regulatory compliance; experience in creating people/process risk control points 
  7. With strong external network to keep abreast of industry best practices
