Position Title: CASA Head

 

 

Job Summary:

Responsible for the planning, development, execution, marketing and growth of assigned products. Defines the product vision; works closely with IT, sales, marketing and control units to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction are met while meeting regulatory requirements and addressing identified risks. Oversees other Product Managers and/or Product Assistant. 

 

 

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Bank’s deposit products (savings and checking account), including its digital onboarding and digital value propositions
  • Defines the product strategy and roadmap. Prepares product financial targets.
  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by preparing, reviewing and endorsing Product Concepts and Designs, Product Proposals, Service Descriptions and Business Cases for approval.
  • Endorses Request for Service Changes (RSC), if project requires system enhancement/development, and coordinate with ITG on the requirements and timelines.
    • Reviews and endorses other required documentation (i.e., Maintenance Forms, RSC Responses, etc.)
  • Works closely with Risks, Accounting, Legal and Compliance regarding agreements, documentation requirements and processes.
    • Ensures BSP and other regulatory requirements are met
    • Reviews and customizes agreements depending on the party/ies.
  • Liaises with BSD on policy-related requirements and securing committee approvals.
  • Handles coordination with Risks, Accounting, Legal and Compliance regarding agreements, documentation requirements and processes.
  • Coordinates with external parties on product development requirements, if necessary.
  • Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, and anticipating volume/ count targets.
  • Works with distribution channels to ensure product success and market growth. Conducts product training to frontliners and other support units.
  • Prepares report on competitive information and market trends.
  • Drives product launches in coordination with Marketing.
  • Conceptualizes promotional campaigns to help achieve business goals. Defines product marketing communication objectives.
  • Works with Marketing on the conceptualization and implementation of communication plans, which include collaterals, PR materials, and events. Ensures that communication materials are updated.
  • Handles product performance monitoring and ensures profitability of assigned products. Performs regular management update on product takeup.
  • Oversees performance and deliverables of assigned Product Managers
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5–6 years of senior experience in product management, preferably in deposit or CASA (Current Account/Savings Account) products within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps, including product pricing, financial planning, digital onboarding, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams of Product Managers or Assistants, and effectively coordinating across business units including IT, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Risk.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with external partners, regulators (e.g., BSP), and internal committees to drive product development and approvals.
  • Demonstrated ability in market analysis, product performance monitoring, and execution of promotional campaigns to ensure product profitability and growth.
