Position Title: Head, Central and Liability

 

Job Summary:
 

  • Manages directly the functions / activities of the Central Liability Unit so as to ensure that the goals of the unit arising from its various responsibilities are met. Supervises the Officers & Staff who are tasked with earmarking and allocation of omnibus lines and multi-user limits prior to loan booking to ensure compliance to established credit policies and procedures. Attains the department’s objectives by exercising the managerial functions of planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the activities of the unit

Role Exposure:

  • Reviews and validates the information gathered by the Central Liability Assistant in the Earmarking Request Form are correct and in compliance with the approved credit line facilities in LASER and Customer Credit Line Review Report
  • Coordinates with OPG-LOD/TFOD and/or Lending Units on issues on limits management that requires immediate resolution.
  • Sends earmarking results to OPG- LOD/TFOD and concerned Lending Units and ensures that the service delivery is within the acceptable period and earmarking requests for the day are processed and delivered to the respective units.
  • Ensures that excess availments against approved credit lines are monitored and unauthorized breaches are addressed on a daily basis.
  • Shall investigate each account reflected in the Summary of Excess Availments (LASER) and determine the reason for the excess availment in coordination with the Lending Unit and OPG-LOD/TFOD.
  • Shall prepare a Breach Report for excess availments.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Business- related courses, preferably Economics, Accounting or Finance
  • With People Manager experience
  • Must have a pro-active approach to problem solving and the ability to meet tight deadlines
