Position Title:  HEAD, CORPORATE SALES DEPARTMENT

Job Summary: 

  • Responsible for working closely with Institutional Banking Sector Relationship Managers in terms of marketing foreign exchange, fixed income, time deposits, as well as hedging and investment solutions and other financial products to Large corporate accounts and Luzon-based commercial and business banking accounts.

  • Initiates, implements and evaluates business strategies to acquire new clients, improve customer relationship, enhance client retention and loyalty, and derive additional business from existing accounts

  • Supervises Sales Traders in the daily servicing of clients foreign exchange, fixed income, time deposits,  structured products and derivatives requirements

  • Develop talent and skill set of Sales Traders in accordance with business requirements

  • Conducts marketing calls directly or jointly with Relationship Managers.

  • Performs Customer Suitability Assessment with Relationship Manager and Credit Officer (when applicable)

  • Provides customers market updates and forecasts, present product briefs and financial solutions to generate business volume

  • Conducts comprehensive briefings to Relationship Managers  to enhance product knowledge and capacity to spot opportunities for financial markets solutions selling

  • Prepares client call reports, progress and market feedback reports for regular submission to the Division Head.

  • Monitors accounts periodically to ensure volume and income growth and profitability of accounts

  • Ensures Department’s full compliance with internal and external policies and regulations; conducts activities with an awareness of the risks and prescribed controls

  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Possesses robust quantitative, analytic, and communication skills, demonstrating proficiency in these key areas.

  • Brings valuable experience in both international and local fixed income markets, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of diverse financial landscapes.

  • Exhibits extensive knowledge in international capital markets, contributing to a well-rounded expertise in global financial systems.

  • Demonstrates a keen understanding of the investment and wealth management business, aligning with the intricacies of these sectors.
