Position Title: Head, Credit Investigation & Appraisal Division
Job Summary:
Ensures a high standard quality of all credit investigation and credit appraisal reports through a strict implementation of pertinent credit policies and procedures, adherence to regulatory requirements as well as careful consideration of relevant market development..
Role Exposure:
- Oversees the administration and functions of the division as a support and control unit to Marketing/Lending Units and Metro Manila Branches in the preparation of Credit Investigation Reports , Inspection & Appraisal Reports , Title verification reports and other reports generated by CRIAD.
- Monitors the requests for credit investigation to ensure immediate process within the prescribed turn around time.
- Monitors the requests for inspection and appraisal to ensure acceptability of collateral, reasonableness of the value, quality and marketability of the properties appraised.
- Reviews and validates various reports prepared by Metro Manila Appraisal Units and Centralized Credit Units to ensure that the reports are acceptable based on the standard and policies of the bank and within the prescribed urn around time.
- Validates inspection and appraisal reports done by accredited external appraisal companies to ensure acceptability and reasonableness of value and compliance to the set standard of the bank.
- Oversee the development of the unit and the bank via continues trainings and seminar to CRIAD personnel and bank employees.
- Prepares succession planning, hiring and recognition of potential talents to ensure business continuity in case of resignations/retirement.
- Forge partnership with internal clients and stakeholders to ensure achievement of common goals.
- Conducts ocular/field inspections on complex appraisal reports from time to time to ascertain reasonableness of value, determine the quality and marketability of the collateral offered and update developments of the area.
- Ensures that bank policies and regulation are complied in the various units of CRIAD.
- Conducts visitation of CCUs and other Units from time to time.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Business-related courses
- Analytical Orientation, Appraisal, Detail Orientation, Financial Resource Management, Internal Control, Policy Formulation, Records and Information Management, Research Orientation, Risk Assessment
- At least 10 years working experience in credit with focus on CI and Appraisal
- Must have a pro-active approach to problem solving and the ability to meet tight deadlines
