Position Title: Head, Credit Operations
Job Summary:
Credit Operations is dedicated to supporting Credit Group by managing critical systems, data, processes, and tools that ensure the efficiency and integrity of credit-related activities.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations related to credit evaluation, approval workflows, preparation and verification of loan documentation. Ensure all systems and processes are fully compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards, efficiently supporting seamless credit operations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Institutional Banking Sector, Information Technology Group, General Services, Controllership Group – Records Management Department, and Business Financial Planning and Analysis Department.
- Oversees a team of Credit Operations Assisant and Officer in-charge in providing operational support to Credit Group.
- Manage operational support for Credit Group-owned systems, including daily monitoring and maintenance.
- Reviews risk rating movements of approved credit proposals for data reporting.
- Maintain databases such as credit risk rating movement and corporate/commercial account details.
- Gatekeeper of both electronic and physical documentation in accordance with internal policies
- Manage logistical and administrative requirements, including office supply requests, IT and non-IT equipment requisitions, inventory management and mailing services.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing, checking and submitting required documentation.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of management-led events such as Townhall sessions, Credit Conferences, team building activities and other corporate events.
- Initiate operational improvements to streamline procedures and enhance service to the team and stakeholders.
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Exposure in banking industry with good understanding of credit processes
- Experience with technology, systems and/or enterprise software
- Proficient in MS 365 Applications such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and MS Teams
- Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders within the Bank
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
