Investment Evaluation Officer (Trust Banking Group)

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for providing TBG Management with sound and thorough evaluation of investment outlets and of counterparties, primarily through financial and risk analysis.

  • Core responsibilities also include monitoring of the financial status and other emerging credit risks of investment outlets where TBG has exposure.

  • Ensures that the division/department’s directives are appropriately implemented.

  • Performs financial valuation, credit risk analysis and validation of credit/equity risk ratings relative to the proposed investment in financial securities. Reviews Financial Performance of Accredited Issuers, Counterparties and Brokers in coordination with TBG’s investment management unit and the Bank’s financial institutions unit.

  • Maintains investment/credit folders, ensure completeness of documentary requirements, and safe keeps collateral documents, if any, in coordination with the Operations Division.

  • Prepares credit/investment evaluation reports for Investment Committee (INCOM) and Trust Committee (TRUSTCOM).

  • Prepares internal credit/equity risk ratings reports.

  • Monitors credit documentary deficiencies

  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Has experience in credit or financial analysis, and has familiarity with computing financial ratios

  • Strong writing ability

  • Can work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment

  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
