Investment Specialist (Financial Markets Sector)

Job Summary:

  • Implements business strategies to increase client base, improve customer service and relations, enhance client retention and loyalty, and derive additional business from existing accounts

  • Supports Relationship Managers of various sectors in deepening customer relationships by providing investment products and services. 

  • Profiles clients as to product suitability and assists the Branch and Relationship Managers in conducting profiling activities.

  • Conducts marketing calls and comprehensive product briefings and market updates  to prospective and existing clients.

  • Continually assesses and provides feedback to the Desk/Department Head regarding market performance, competitiveness, relevance and overall profitability of investment products and services.

  • Complies with policies and regulations affecting the market where he/she trades and conducts work activities with an awareness of the risks and prescribed controls.

  • Monitors the submission of required documents by clients/branches and ensures accuracy and prompt delivery of investment documents and reports to clients.

  • Files, safe keeps and maintains documents of the Desk, particularly deal-related customer files.

  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

Qualifications:

  • With a strong background in investment sales, private banking, or wealth management

  • A Certified Treasury Professional and SEC license holder

  • With two years of experience working for a Bank as Treasury Specialist or Trader
